PS Vita screen won't turn on

I've got a rather annoying issue with my vita... when I tried turning it on, only the Ps button would glow, nothing else. i figured the battery was dead, so i charged it, fully charged, turned it on, same thing again. only sometimes i could hear the elevator music but that's it. the screen was dead.



what do i do?!
