Originally set up at Warner Bros. Pictures, A Willing Patriot is scripted by Jason Keller and revolves around an American federal agent who goes undercover in South America’s dangerous so-called tri-border area — where Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay meet — in an attempt to dismantle a terrorist-funding network. Land of Mine director Martin Zandvliet is attached to direct the film, which will be fully financed by Marc Butan’s MadRiver Pictures. Butan will produced alongside Keller, Guymon Casady and Darin Friedman of Film 360 and Gianni Nunnari of Hollywood Gang. Shannon Gaulding will oversee through the latter as well.

I wonder if this is the one Kathryn Bigelow was attached to for a while.
