Should Sony start giving more creative control?

I thought Sony and everyone learned their lesson from their previous film..... But I guess that isn't the case :/



I understand that they're not doing well right now (because you know, the PS4 is selling well while shutting down a billion other properties..... Because you guys think it's funny to make fun of everyone else in poverty!), but the first movie was a surprise hit for a reboot. Naturally, it'd be a smart thing to use what people liked about the first one and fixed whatever problem it had with the sequel. However, Sony believes that people still lives in the year 2007 and we had to go backwards in terms of being different.



Perhaps the biggest problem with the first film was that there wasn't enough of certain things..... Though, one plot point also didn't contribute to the quality of the second one. The fact that everyone from Marc Webb to the production team talking about how there's cut scenes from the movie pretty much speaks for itself.



I know that people are still into the Raimi series and all, but putting elements within the new series THAT'S SUPPOSED TO BE DIFFERENT :doh: Not only are they making the same mistakes, they're somehow making new ones!
