Here’s the official full logline: “Upon arriving home for the first time in ten years, an animated Barbarian father finds that reconnecting with his live-action son and ex-wife while suffering a mundane office job and the banality of suburban life is harder than waging actual war in his distant, animated world.” So you could say it’s like Roger Rabbit meets Conan the Barbarian meets The Incredibles. The potential series is currently in the presentation stage and is from executive producers Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Seth Cohen, who recently proved that pushing the creative envelope on Fox can draw an audience with last season’s surprise sleeper success Last Man on Earth (which included a cameo by Sudeikis). Reed Agnew and Eli Jorne are the showrunners.
