If Darkseid makes a cameo/after credit scene in BvS... Practical makeup or CGI?

I think it could be interesting to differ from Thanos comparisons by doing a phenomenal makeup application for Darkseid. I know CGI could work. What do you guys think? I'm thinking if they decided to do a cameo/end of credits type scene they'd have to choose.
