When I heard of the casting of Holly Hunter, Tao Okamoto and Callan Mulvey, and the press release revealing them to be original characters.
It made me think Holly Hunter is not playing a traditional DC character.
Unlike Marvel and Fox, Warner Bros. has the entire DC library at their disposal and they can use a lot of the characters.
There have been made for movie characters so far, like Jenny Jurwich, General Swanwick and Mjr. Carrie Farris, even though she was an easter egg.
