Spidey's costume has had armpit webbing on and off throughout his career in the comics, but has never been portrayed in the movies. Considering we've had 5 Spider-Man movies that have all been massive critical & commercial failures, simple logic & reasoning point to the lack of armpit webbing as the reason why.
Not only is the deficiency of proper armpit webs responsible for giving us five awful Spider-Man movies, we can also safely blame global increases in drug abuse, crime, disease, poverty and hunger, and the dreadful state of modern music on the absence of these most critical elements of Spidey's threads.
It is time to stop the madness. Put armpit webs on the new Spider-Man costume, and help usher in a new era where peace and love and healing spread across our damaged world.
