Can Marvel's Spidey deal work with this?

Lets assume this movie bombs pretty bad, which is very possible. Does Fox stick with their plans for a sequel and trying to crossover with X-Men or do you think they will consider the Marvel/Sony model? Fox contracts Marvel to produce Fantastic Four films for them while they take in all of the box office earnings and maintains the rights to the characters. If that scenario does happen I think it will be a little different from the Spider-Man deal in that I think Marvel will probably keep this cast and move forward with them and treat the Trank film as canon in the MCU (as long as nothing that would contradict the MCU happens in it). The Fantastic Four as a bunch of smart 20 somethings that stumbled on something incredible is probably the best way to introduce them into the MCU anyway, rather than as an older group that all of a sudden pops up when they should have been relevant earlier. And in terms of talent for that age bracket, what Fox cast is probably as good as anything.
