Will there ever be an adaptation of The Unfunnies?

So far, Wanted, Secret Service and Kick-Ass films have all gotten greenlit. What about a rather faithful cartoon adaptation of The Unfunnies? I'd pay to see it just to have the DVD on my bookshelf.
