Mulder and Scully fans are really waiting for news of the long-mooted third X-Files movie, which has reportedly been sketched out for some time. If Gillian Anderson is right, that won't happen until at least 2016, if at all. When we chatted to Frank Spotnitz eighteen months ago, he indicated that a TV reboot was likely, and confirmed that there wasn't yet a script in place for the planned third movie.
