how does "extremis" tie to age of ultron

I read interviews with kevin fegie saying that iron man 3 is more relevant to AOU than it appears to be..I am guessing extremis is closely tie to age of ultron. maybe Killian is working with hydra?



what u guys think? maybe scarlett witch and quicksilver are products of extremis? successful products ?
