Question re: Hulk and the Marvel Studios Universe

Does the world know that Bruce Banner is the Hulk?



I don't remember anyone ever admitting in either "The Incredible Hulk" or "The Avengers" that it was public fact that Bruce Banner is the Hulk.



Can anyone verify this fact for me?
