There was no need to reboot. A good film is a good film, they could have taken what was right about the Amazing movies (I loved them though) and ditched all the things the majority of people complained about.
Andrew Garfield was the GOAT Spidey now we're going to have The Amazing Butter-Boy ayyyyyLMAO. I get that they want the opportunity to setup for the MCU but why couldn't they just find a way for TASM's Garfield Spidey to be a part of it?
If it's really just because Garfield was rude to the SONY execs I'll lol hard.
