La Machine Infernale John Higgins

Hey guys,

Just posting about the low profile (for now) project I'm doing with artist John Higgins of Watchmen and Batman: The Killing Joke fame (as well as countless other comics like Dredd, Greysuit, Thunderbolt Jaxon with Dave Gibbons etc.)

It's a full film based on a graphic novel called La Machine Infernale. You can read more about it from Bleeding Cool here.

Quote:

It is part of a transmedia project that will cover films and games, an action espionage tale set during the French Revolution.

Pitched as “Bourne in 1800″, La Machine Infernale graphic novel follows the adventure of an asian female assassin, part of a secret elite team commanded by revolutionary leader Maximilien de Robespierre, in a war against royalists and oppression in France under the Revolution and the First Empire.
We already shot a short film, that works as a sample / proof of concept for the project, while we work on the graphic novel

You can see an early teaser trailer here. And another here.

To finish the short film, we're doing a Kickstarter which you can check out here, and where you can sample artwork by John, see trailers, and listen to the soundtrack which is by movie trailers Wizards Ninja Tracks (The Wolverine, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Mad Max Fury Road etc.).

There you can score one of the early, limited rewards on this, Blu-ray, streaming, take your pick -- it's totally indie so any support is welcome.

Don't hesitate to share the link with your friends on social networks, and join our FB page. I can pop here from time to time and will answer any question, so don't hesistate :)
