I'm in the market for a new tv. keep in mind i'm fairly tech blonde. i currently have a 50" phillips DLP (can find the model later if needed) that i've had for about 8 years now. i've only ever had to replace the bulb once but i feel as though i might have to replace it soon. the picture is getting kinda dark.
i really want to upgrade to something in the 55-60" range, 65" if i can find a really really good deal. at the same time, i'm really not trying to pay more than a $1000 for one.
these are some of the ones i'm looking at, so any insight is much appreciated, even if it is to recommend another one entirely:
