A World Without Women... Viable?

Before this thread gets shut down as sexist bickering, I want to interject some hypotheticals...

1) Off spring will not be an issue with the technology available 5-10 years from now. Stem Cells. These can be converted to haploid ovarian cells. You'd have all the sperm in the world needed to fertilize them in vitro. You would need to reproduce the female gestation period in the laboratory. I don't know how scientifically realistic that would be with today's tech, but it can probably be done with ease sometime in the near future. Now I don't think the technology is realistic to do this the other way and go female only, unless sperm can only be engineered as X. This isn't practical from a genetic engineering standpoint from my understanding.

2) We are passed the biological problem. Society collapses? But why? What would men want to possess over one another? Sex and desire for mates would be of no motivation to us. Everyone would be on the same page, working to improve technology and solve problems. Or would we just all become warmongerers with no purpose in the world, and why would that be?

3) Children... the unenviable task of raising children? Can we do this with only dads? Feeding the kids and changing diapers would not be a huge hurdle, but what would kids be emotionally? Would they be exclusively boys once we reach the point of no return? How would they become men with no frame of reference from experiences with the opposite sex?

So being that the majority of us here are geeky, nerdy men, what are your thoughts? And please, women do comment as well. Not a troll thread, just an honest inquiry.
