Its no secret filmmaker Wes Anderson is working on a stop-motion animated movie about dogs, not unlike the one he made with Fantastic Mr. Fox. Some of the cast has already been announced: Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum, Bob Balaban and Bryan Cranston. Today, in a video announcement, Anderson revealed the title of the film, Isle Of Dogs, and the rest of the cast including Scarlett Johansson, Tilda Swinton and Greta Gerwig. The voice cast also includes F, Murray Abraham, Harvey Keitel, Frances McDormand, Live Schreiber and Yoko Ono alongside Japanese actors Kunichi Nomura, Akira Ito, Akira Takayama and Koyu Rankin. Anderson once called the movie a Japanese story so presumably the isle in the movie is set somewhere in Japan and this explains the new group of actors joining Andersons troupe. |
