I'm surprised this hasn't really been brought up yet.
In Episode 15, Wells revealed/confirmed that he was Eobard Thawne, from the future, and that Eddie is a "distant relative" of him. The implications of this are huge. First of all, assuming a direct paternal lineage, that Wells is White indicates that Iris will not end up with Eddie in the future.
But aside from that, I wonder what Barry's reaction will be to this and what his interactions will be like with Eddie in the future. How does one react to the knowledge that a person's descendent from some point in the future will eventually come back to kill your own mother?
Incidentally, has Wells ever interacted with Eddie up until this point? Here's hoping that they do at some point soon. It would seem like an incredibly wasted opportunity if not.
