Are Jeans Pants?

Because I was looking on Old Navy's website and it had all the different categories of clothes listed, and it had pants and jeans separate. So, it's like... what's the deal? Are jeans just not good enough for pants or something? Because the way I see it, jeans meet all the requirements, but pants are just being like "No, you're not one of us, go sit over there."



This segregation has to be stopped.
