AoU's connection to TWS (Spoilers)

SPOILERS AHEAD! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Does anyone else feel like Age of Ultron was written in a bubble aside from The Winter Soldier? Everything that was built up in that film was rendered inert in moments every time...

Look at it;

1) Fury was dead to the world, yet he's now in charge of the Avengers? He changed his look in TWS, but nope, same old Fury

2) SHIELD is gone, but hey, here's a Helicarrier

3) SHIELD is gone, but hey, here's the staff hanging around from TWS

4) Von Strucker and HYDRA are dealt with in moments. Boy, they were a threat...

5) Black Widow went underground. Not any more!

6) Bucky was given lip service at best, felt really forced

7) The Avengers are assembled, but with no reason as to why/when

8) Agents of SHIELD ignored...

Probably more, but it seems REALLY strange to me that TWS' ramifications were ignored so wholly

The Definitive Spider-Man Cartoon

I think there's a debate about which cartoon was the best Spider-Man cartoon and, with news of a new animated movie, I thought it was a good time for a topic about it. Typically, the debate centers around two shows, but I've included all of them for completeness. As a child of the 90s, when I think of Spider-Man, I think of 1994's Spider-Man series. To me, it has all the classic stories, mature themes, great voice acting from Christopher Daniel Barnes as Peter Parker. It uses Kingpin effectively as a villain and even does a really good job with Venom. But, from a lot of comments around here, it seems that many people like Spectacular Spider-Man better.

So here's a poll. The choices are:

Spider-Man (1967) - Famous for introducing Spider-Man's iconic theme song.
Spider-Man (1981)
Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends - A different take that introduced more characters
Spider-Man (1994) - The longest-running Spider-Man series
Spider-Man Unlimited - A very different take with a very different costume
Spider-Man: The New Animated Series - A followup to Raimi's Spider-Man
The Spectacular Spider-Man - Sony's take on a High School age Peter Parker
Ultimate Spider-Man - The most recent version of Spider-Man. I like it when Deadpool appears at least

Is that a sniper?

OK, so when I watched the trailer few hounded times, it never crossed my mind, but a friend watched it and ask me ''Why is Batman holding a sniper?''

I was like, ''Where the hell did you see that?''

He is talking about this shot:

I always assumed that this was part of the tower, but now that he mentioned it really looks like a sniper.

Was this discussed?

Has Batman ever been slim/skinny?

Hey guys! I'm thinking about cosplaying Batman pretty soon, and I'm wondering, has he ever been slimmer or more skinny, kinda more like Spider-Man or The Flash? I have a more lean build, not nearly as much mass as Batfleck and I want to make sure the suit I go with suits my body type, now obviously there's Batman Beyond but I would prefer the more traditional Batman.

Here's one of my recent workout progress pictures for reference:

Delete your old racist social media posts: There's an app for that

http://ift.tt/1GooMyk

Jeb Bush campaign's Tech director Ethan Czahor deleted several hundred of his "comedy" posts in the handful of days he worked that job.

He's made it easier for posters who've embarrassed themselves - a lot - to get rid of their old posts.

Your Favorite "Funny" Scene in The Avengers Age of Ultron

Just as in any MCU movie, humor plays an integral part. I've heard some people comparing AOU's humor to the first one. Some say we have it better this time around, while others think otherwise.

Nevertheless, there were quite some funny lines and scenes in AOU.
Which is your favorite?

You might consider mine weird because I believe it wasn't supposed to be intentionally funny...

When Hawkeye were having this one-on-one moment in the battle, he basically did a smalls sermon to SW saying "You walk out that door... You're an Avenger."

So when Hawkeye was in the middle of pawning Ultron's minions and he was about to be outnumbered, the scene shifted to SW stepping out that door in slow motion. :woo: And damn it son, SHE REALLY WALKED OUT DOOR. :hehe: :applaud

Actually, I bursted out laughing. Luckily the whole theatre I was in did so too and a couple of people even said loudly "DAMN GHURL!"

So, what's yours? :mrk:
