A message to Sony

Please forget about The Sinister Six and Venom movies for now and focus on The Amazing Spider-Man 3

Do you think WB/DC will ever make a Wonder Woman movie?

Do you think WB/DC will ever make a WW movie? With the continued excuses put out by WB every time the subject is brought up do they even care?

If you think they won't make a movie why do you believe this? What evidence?

If you think they will make a move why do you believe this? What evidence?

Luke Skywalker - Mark Hamill

"The Force is with you, young Skywalker,"

I'm thrilled he's Back, he my favorite Star Wars Character both in the film and even more so in the expanded universe. I look forward to seeing him in Episode VII with the rest of the gang. I'm very curious to see if he'll be more like Yoda or Obi-Wan as Jedi Master. :jedi

kick-ass 3

i was curious if anyone was following KA3? i've read them all starting when KA1 came out. and i couldn't find any forums out there so i figured i'd start a thread here

KA1 i thought was pretty damn good! i collected the books, and saw the movie and prefer the book over the movie. when the second books came out i thought colonel stars was going to take over the and make up for the short role that bid daddy had, and this was the time that millar could make up for daddy's short role. but nope... the colonel got 2 issues and then got erased...

i hate how the character development works... KA3 ive read and waiting on the final issue now, and im quiet disappointed.. they made huge character development with the new character "the juicer" 3 maybe even 4 books he was in, and the books looked as though it was building him up for something BIG, maybe bigger then colonel stars, and big daddy but...
nope...only to be shot in the face awhile eating a hot dog...
what the heck already..

i havent read any of his other books but does he do the same thing? build up these super cool characters and then kill them off with out them even doing anything?

im curious to see what happen in the last book, but im completely disappointed with the 3rd series and was curious how other fans felt?

Trying to ID a story / plot

Hey folks

I'm hoping that someone can help me to ID a story/plotline that I read as a teenager. I can only remember a few details and its been driving me mad trying to work out what it was... The marvel universe is so huge that googling hasn't really got me very far.

Here's what I remember:

1. The main villain was essentially a big strong muscly human. He had a very simple/childlike intellect but was a combat expert. He worked for some kind of secret organisation and there was a female scientist who acted as his "mother". He didn't have superpowers but he had technology which let him "fly".

2. The storyline I'm thinking of features SHIELD, and The Punisher had a very, very short cameo in it. The Punisher is visiting SHIELD when the main villain attacks. Punisher hears the sound of gunfire/explosions and says something like ".22s, stun grenades, and something else I don't recognise" and Fury replies "the .22s are ours, no idea about the rest..."

3. At the end of the attack SHIELD have been badly beaten up. Villain is returning to his dropship (I think) and has kidnapped a random female SHIELD agent. Female scientist/mother tells him not to bring "toys" back with him and so he drops the agent to her death.

4. I *think* this was published in the early to mid 1990s, but it might have been before then.

Any ideas? I'm sorry the details are so vague but I can only remember a few specific panels of the comic!!

Thanks

Will Phil Coulson ever appear in the movies again?

I mean, he has to at some point right? They can't just drag out this subplot of keeping his resurrection secret from the rest of the Avengers no? I mean, he was willing to break his cover to someone like Sif, perhaps revealing himself to rest of the Avengers is not far off.

But the way things are going, Phil may have to keep a low profile now that he and his team are now [BLACKOUT]wanted fugitives[/BLACKOUT].

What do you all think?

Big changes?

So spider man and 2 where consider great then we had spider man 3 witch was consider bad then the amazing spider man witch was consider ok sligly good and now sounds like the amazing spider man 2 is bad. So with 3 movies in a row not being liked all that while do you think we could see some big changes going forward if this movie makes less then the first one? I mean that would be 2 in a row that have made less then the one before and if you think about it not nearly has many people are into this movies has the first 3 could we see new writers or derecter or something for the amazing spider man 3?
