Comic sales

I'm still stumped by sales on Ebay. I'm a little new to this so perhaps I just don't know how things work. I've seen comics on Ebay that are listed as worth for example $600 graded. Yet the person is selling it for $2-300. I mean that's half of what it's worth so I can't understand why?
