On why soccer is such a bad sport
1. Any game where the team that is ahead can win just by playing "keep away" is a boring snoozefest.
2. Not much strategy involved...all tactics. This is boring compared to other sports like football.
3. Very very very very very poor sportsmanship in soccer. Much worse than football, baseball, or hockey. Basketball is getting worse but is still better than soccer. Football is practically a gentleman's sport compared to soccer.
4. Not much stats to track like baseball, makes comparing players and fantasy sports tough...compare this to baseball! Soccer is in the dark ages when it comes to stats. Stats increase the fun of watching and tracking your favorite player.
5. Very low scoring...not much excitement.
6. Hardly any violence. The most violence comes when the guy flops to the ground after a phantom foul.
7. Ties???!?!?!!?
8. Soccer players use their heads to hit the ball...further proof the sport is for stupid people (jk).
Soccer is popular because it can be played by poor people in the third world relatively easily and it is very simple to understand. In many cases it is popular just because it got there first before the other major team sports. Compare this to football, basketball, hockey, or baseball!! These sports require more equipment and intelligence to play or watch. Although I don't like hockey that much and it is similar to soccer. For the most part, these are sports meant for a modern age...soccer is like cricket, etc,....meant for 1800s/1900s.

Will Stan Lee get a cameo this time?
I don't understand why the X-films are so stingy with the Stan Lee cameos.(He's only done 2.) He's in all the Marvel studio films and all the Spider-Man films for Sony.I can't believe Stan would turn down a cameo request,so why do TPTB not extend an appearance of our Generalissimo more often?

I understand it had its problems and it's nowhere near my favourite comic book movie or is it not my favourite Spider-man movie but I seen list of the worst films ever made and I always see it in there its not a brilliant movie but come on one of the worst movies ever made that's going way over the top the movie for me is at least a 6.5/10
What if The Rough Cut was the version that was released?
The movie got a lot of mixed reviews but months before its released some people saw an unedited version of the movie and said it was Brillant and the version they saw was an unedited version so I'm wondering if they released that version instead would it have got a better response and the same thing happened with the first movie why do they keep changing huge plot points of these films I understand they need to cut some scenes but come on not important scenes that put the story together

The new TMNT game focuses on hack-and-slash gameplay and will let the player swap between the four turtles on-the-fly. Each turtle will feature their own skills and differences. Forgive what sounds like a noob question
Mostly I post on the info site and not in the forums but have realized that my Avatar has disappeared. Wandered back and forth and since it was so long ago that I set up the account I cannot find where I can check on my avatar to get it back on. Any help would be great, after awhile every forum blends and changes and I only used the User Cp once not sure it's ins and outs.
Tag teams
I'd kind of like to do something with the idea of super tag teams (possibly a fictional tournament that I could do on a wrestling game using the create-a-wrestler feature), but its harder to pair just 2 supers with one another than it is to form one big group of supers. Here's who I have so far (because I'd be doing this on a wrestling game, I'm kind of limited to characters fighting within their gender):

Personally, I wouldn't mind either one of the previous composers back.
Zimmer's score was memorable and badass. I really really like it. Horner's was however much better written and more varied. Honestly, anyone who calls it generic has either not listened to it enough, or is... Okay, I'll stop here.
Still, though, I'd love for anyone of the two composers to return. If not them, Alan Silvestri would be interesting. That is, if Marvel Studios don't own him or something.
How about you guys?

While I still felt the first was the overall best film. AOE had the better villains of the whole franchise (Bot and Human), stronger arc for Prime and the most screen time for the bots. Getting rid of the military screen time was also a plus.
That said, DOTM had the best set piece (driller) and ROTF still the best bot battle with the forrest fight.

What the hell is happening at Disney Channel? I remember stuff like That's so Raven, Zack & Cody, Sony with a Chance, Wizards of Waverly Place and hell, even Hannah Montana actualy having some cool ideas with a decent execution, this just looks so dumb...
The other Disney Channel original live action shows also look realy painfuly generic, what happened? Anyone that watches the channel with their kids or still follows anything there that can enlighten me if everything there is still like that?

Sure there's a couple of good ones like cat woman or Cassandra nova (who is yet to appear in a movie) but most of the time even the female rogues tend to play the love interests like mystique.

Is it like a Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch deal or because Fox has Galactus do they have total ownership?
I am just curious to know because while in the comics they are all awesome as former heralds of Galactus they are all damn good characters on the cosmic side of things in and of themselves and seeing as Fox are unlikely to use them, I would hope Marvel would someday.
And lets face it, if they ever do Annihilation they would all be essential to the story. Would people like to see them in any future GOTG endeavours if someone can answer the rights issue?

Rory McCann became one of the show's most popular characters and best anti-villains/heroes, while still being a pitiable and even occaisionally terrifying murderous wreck.
He also has one of the more interesting character arcs in the show so far, ending up in a three sixty from his previous position of loyal thug to filthy rich and corrupt nobility at the height of its power who terrorizes young girls to grudging but sincere champion of an orphaned girl with no family or material wealth. The fact he was basically Arya's third father figure in the show also acted as a nice illustration of how bad her situation's got, as was his meeting with his foil Brienne in the Season finale.
So, (book spoilers) [SPOILER] do you think Martin was teasing the character's return in his books or just giving the character an ambiguous ending with the suspiciously tall, limping gravedigger on the same Quiet Isle that holds his supposedly untamable horse? And do you think the show will have McCann return? I could see it going either way, though I feel the book's scenario could be the finale to his arc.[/SPOILER]

Moving on from Skywalker: Yes or No?
With David Boyega and Daisy Ridley essentially being the two new leads for the franchise, and with no contender or info pointing out to Luke having offspring, it would then be pretty much safe to assume that Luke will be the last character within the franchise to have the Surname of "Skywalker", let alone the main protagonist of a given trilogy no longer being about a direct heir to the Skywalker family.
After two trilogies and several decades worth of having a "Skywalker" presented at the forefront of the saga, how do you guys feel about this development? Do you think this new trilogy is actually a good time to finally move away from the Skywalker branch?Do you guys think that it's a mistake to not have a Skywalker as the main character for the new trilogy?
Now, even if Ridley ends up being Han and Leia's daughter, thus being a Skywalker by blood... I mean let's face it, Leia was never really treated or defined as being a member of the Skywalker family. The BvS write-a-trailer thread. What kind of reveals would you want in a trailer?
My trailer idea:
It starts with a suit rip reveal from Superman that shows the nano technology closing in over his upper chest area. Cuts to Diana in a business woman outfit, walking down a street. Bruce Wayne bumps into her and smiles. She then smiles back, and he says "I'm Bruce Wayne." and she responds "Diana" then another cut to Lex Luthor looking out from his building at night.
The camera pans to the rooftop and Batman is there with some flashes of lightning and rain is just starting to pick up. Superman lands on the building and approaches him. "Hanging out on rooftops?" Batman: "Something like that..." cut to Superman: "A storm is coming." Batman: "It's already here." *vanishes* Cue the logo!
Ok now everyone come on here and tell me it's too long or something and rain on my creativity :p

At first I didn't mind seeing it again but since they announced The Sinister Six why not build The Sinister Six from the first movie if they had 2 villians per movie

As many of you cutie pie's were well-aware, the Hype's community used to be a well-populated and heavily used area for non-nerdy topics. CBS Films announced today it has secured the rights to the trilogy of "Atlantis" novels by author A.G. Riddle. The first book in the series, "The Atlantis Gene," has become a critical and sales phenomenon on Amazon's eBook sales charts.
"The Atlantis Gene" concerns a brilliant geneticist and an international counterterrorism agent who must team up to thwart a global pandemic and solve the greatest mystery of all time: the truth behind the origins of humanity.
Self-published in March of 2013, "The Atlantis Gene," quickly amassed hundreds of thousands of readers and raced up the sales charts. The third installment in the trilogy, "The Atlantis World" was released on May 15, 2014 and has already reached #1 on Amazon science diction rankings.

After working with Ben Affleck on both “Argo” and David Fincher's upcoming “Gone Girl,” Scoot McNairy will reteam with the actor for Zack Snyder's “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” an individual familiar with the project has told TheWrap.
An insider told TheWrap they were “sworn to secrecy” regarding McNairy's role, thus confirming his involvement with the project, though a representative for Warner Bros. declined to comment.

I have every Sim 2 game loaded on it except Apartment Life and Pets. I also have these four stuff packs loaded, and they are Family Fun Stuff, Glamour, Celebration, and Holiday. I now want to load Pets.
Do I have enough memory, ram etc to do so? The load times are slow sure(vacations or downtown), but not snail slow.What will Pets do? Will it be fine since all the others work well or would putting Pets be tempting fate somehow?:eek:

How to explain Mystique in First Class?
Something that always bothered me about First Class is how it portrayed Mystique's powers. X1 went to great lengths to come up with a logical consistent explanation for how her shape-shifting worked. Basically she is naked the whole time and any clothes she is seen to be wearing were created as part of her disguise.
Then First Class shows that she wore clothes when she was young and somehow her powers allowed her to transform them along with her body.
At certain points we see her only changing her body and her real clothes staying the same on the outside.
But then when she is at the CIA she transforms not only the clothes that she is wearing but even changes the appearance of an ID badge! (shakes head).
Now its possible that she was naked in that scene (but that's completely inconsistent with her character at that point) but that ID badge had to have been a real one that the CIA required her to wear. How could she possibly change its appearance?
Later in the film she is wearing a flight suit and also somehow transforms it. Was she naked here too? Did she create the flight suit with her powers and would that have provided the g-force protection that Charles said they needed? Again doubtful. Because why would she still be using that appearance in the end scene? The flight suit had to be real.
Its just disappointing that this film took such a cartoony approach to her powers (as well as Emma's for that matter) after the previous films tried so hard to ground them in reality.
I know in the comics it was stated at one point that her powers did include transforming clothes but they've also gone back on that and said she has always been naked. But I want to stick to the film universe.

How powerful will Storm be?
Since there is a Jean one I thought i'd make one for Storm. Will Storm finally fly regularly (not float) or will Bryan Singer still refuse to have her flying around? Will we get to see her lose control or will we get another Storm that gets sadly beaten up by Toad like in X-men 1? Will we see her knock someone out by removing the air they breathe in the same way magneto took iron out of the guards blood like in X-men 2?

Act 1:
Working as an entry-level Design Analyst on the Stark International Security Team, SCOTT LANG has displayed both technical brilliance and a savvy understanding of industry-plaguing security flaws. His recent suggestions for modification to Stark commercial security products have boosted effectiveness and have increased sales to the private sector. As a result, Lang is assigned to work on a project team as an assistant to DR. HENRY PYM, an renowned molecular physicist who previously worked with S.H.I.E.L.D. and is now working in the Avengers division of Stark International. However, his participation in the prison-to-work program prevents him from obtaining top-level clearance in the department. He’s told by the Stark HR department that the project promotion is a “workload promotion, not a pay increase”, and that his employment is still subject to termination at will. Seeing the opportunity to push his prison history further into the past, Lang accepts the project assignment.
Scott calls his former wife PEGGY RAE LANG to tell her about the promotion, and reveals that he thinks that this might be his first big break – the position might eventually lead to a pay increase and better health benefits, and in turn would help their daughter CASSANDRA LANG (who is suffering from a congenital heart condition). Peggy is skeptical – she tells Scott that he is a good man at heart, but that he consistently finds ways to make things hard for himself and for anyone who has ever loved him. She wishes him luck and then puts Cassie on the phone. Making his own entrance into Scott’s workshop, Hank is also clearly pleased with the progress, and marvels that he has missed a few of Scott’s observations. After a brief back and forth, Pym relents, and he asks the other two to follow him to the “garage”.

These artifacts could be viewed and harnessed using microscopic technology that Jan’s father helped to pioneer. Similar in composition to the elusive Higgs Boson, the particles possessed the ability to add mass via an undetermined property… and to extract it. Pym tells Lang that his team was successfully able to harness these particles for experimentation.

However, she promises to place an inquiry to see if something can be done to help his daughter – the process might take a few weeks to complete, though, she warns.
After a local bank denies his request for a personal loan due to his checkered past and lack of collateral, Lang calls Ron English to get further information about his offer. English reveals that it IS a job, and that his employer wants as much Stark data as can be acquired – technical specifications, hardware, financial information – and that the stipend upon completion will be based upon the quality of the content obtained. Lang flatly refuses, but English counters that he has just recorded their entire phone call and will submit it to Stark Tech superiors if Lang doesn’t “ at least come in for an interview”. Panicked and miserable, Lang agrees to meet with English at a later date.

Since Van Dyne’s death, Pym has vowed to master the technology before any further attempt to revisit sub-molecular exploration. Jan enters the room and Pym quickly changes the conversation to the contents of some the other canisters – water and food, tools, etc.

Scott shows off a finished 3-D model of the helmet – Jan encourages him to make it look a little “sexier”, and then adds a note that he should think about adding in a backup interior radio receiver.
Peggy and Blake drop Cassie off at Scott’s apartment for the weekend. All are cordial – Blake seems like a nice guy, and he is gentle with Cassie as he escorts her to the front door. She and Blake are taking this time to “steel ourselves for what’s eventually coming.”
As Cassie walks through his tiny studio apartment, she notices that the walls are bare; most surfaces are littered with various electronics parts and soldering equipment. However, he has created a unique holographic visualization for her that is synchronized with her music – it radiates 360 degrees out from the center of the room, making the space seem enormous. She also sees that he’s decorated the bed area with pictures of her in various stages of her childhood. Despite his fatherly affection for her, she seems distant, and she declines the offer for their favorite Chinese food dinner because she lacks the appetite. She plugs her headphones into her ears and then lies down on the bed to watch videos on her smartphone. Scott sits down at his tiny table, pushes aside a circuit board, and eats a bowl of cereal alone.
The next work day, Scott tells Pym that the helmet is finished and that it is ready for a test run. Pym brings Lang and Jan to the “garage” for the prototype trial; Hank places the helmet on his head and micronizes. Jan speaks into a microphone and asks Hank if everything is working to specification, and Hank responds via transceiver that she doesn’t need the microphone. He confirms that the helmet audio/video feed are enormously improved, and that the lens photo-sensitivity and light-spectrum options are a nice touch. He can hear them, but they will still need a device to receive communication. The test run a success, Hank sizes up and congratulates Scott. As they leave the lab, Scott surreptitiously attaches small, magnetic metal box on the inside of the lab door.

Lang pushes a button on his car keys and the lab door electronics power down, allowing him to open the door. A high whining hum emanates from the little metallic box, but stops after he closes the door and again presses the key button. The door electronics reactivate.

Dodging the foot-strikes of massive shoes, Lang jumps out into the hallway.
