I compose music sometimes and since my inspiration is utterly driven by creations of others it's all basically fan art to something... Most of a time I'm inspired by some illustration, hence the pictures in this thread. There's also a commentary of mine of what I've tried to accomplish with the piece, etc. and style of music tag so you somewhat know what to expect. :woot:

• Pictish Drums Of War (Tribal/world music)
Inspired by Modiphius' Robert E. Howard's Conan Roleplaying Game. There was a sample adventure featuring Picts, a tribal savages, with a sentence reading "The player characters from Fort Tuscelan are trekking back northward through the forest when the sound of Pictish war-drums filters across the Black River from the west.", which grabbed at my imagination and made me compose the piece.

Here's a short trailer I've made music for. It's an fantasy RPG game set in the Victorian era.
• The Hellfire Club Domain (Ominous orchestral)
• A Demon Baron Approaches (Pompous orchestral)
Two pieces made for The Hellfire Club faction from the Sorcerer: A Strategy Card Game.
• Sunrise in the Crystalline Dimension (Ambient)
Inspired by this Andree Wallin’s evocative concept art "The Ascension of Kex-Lianish" for a PC game Torment: Tides of Numenera... I just tried to capture that *You are just a traveller venturing through the crystalline dimension while sun is rising among the clouds of this alien world* sort of experience... :woot:
• Ancient Machinery in the Sky (Dark ambient)
Again inspired by an amazing concept art by Andree Wallin, this time it's his "Before the Fall". It tries to capture the feeling of being inside this strange huge space vessel filled with an eerie alien-like machinery that orbits the Earth. Odd inside yet looking through those windows you can still see the splendour of outer space and magnificence of our home planet.
• Roaming the Bloom (Ambient/world music)
The final one from the Numenera trilogy. Inspired by ChangYuan’s great other-worldly concept art "Sojourner of Worlds". It is just about walking the streets of this weird city...
