Some of my most fond memories of gaming are of playing split screen with my friends; whether that was playing Goldeneye on the N64 way back in the day, messing around in Forge mode with Halo, or fighting off zombies in Call of Duty.
But nowadays less and less games are offering split screen co-op. Even new games that have large Co-op components, such as Assassin's Creed Unity and Dragon Age: Inquisition have no split screen option. You and your friends cannot play the co-op modes together on the same console.
Do you think this is a feature that should be included more often? Or do you maybe think split screen co-op isn't necessary anymore now that we are in a more "connected" age?
